"DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR INSURANCE!!!! DAN COHEN DOES NOT KNOW INSURANCE. DISHONEST! I purchased insurance from him in November of 2024. I paid 6 months, I needed a letter of experience which was sent to him. He never sent the letter to statefarm. My insurance was canceled January 31.2025. I called him in January and said I received a letter from statefarm saying my insurance is canceled. Why? He said it was a mistake. I believed him. It was not. He never sent the letter of experience. Statefarm notified him, no response. I was driving without insurance for 3 months! It is a good thing I did not get into an at fault accident. I called him in April and asked what happened. He said I needed 3 years proof of insurance. Statefarm said they do not require that. Only the letter of experience, which he did not send! I got a $169.00 ticket for driving with a suspended license and I have to pay $150 to reinstate my license! I could have gotten arrested! Also, when I spoke to him, there was silence on his part. He knows he made a mistake, just admit it and pay my fines. He also told me to get insurance from another company and in 3 months come back to Statefarm. Which is also not true. Since my license is suspended insurance is so expensive. He will not return my calls. I called today thr 27. Sam answered, the woman who usually answers was not there, she is told to make up any excuse. He told Sam to tell me to call Statefarm, they say to call my agent. He will give me the documentation I need. He will not talk to me. How unprofessional. Sam said he Dan could not talk to me and do not call anymore, hung up."

When obtaining insurance, particularly with State Farm, proof of continuous insurance coverage for the past three years is often required to qualify for certain policies. This requirement is standard in the industry and helps determine eligibility and rates. While the letter of experience is a critical part of this process, it alone does not fulfill the full requirement of providing three years of prior coverage. This was explained to you during the setup of your policy, and we apologize if this information was misunderstood or unclear at the time. Regarding the cancellation of your policy, we understand how upsetting this must have been. It’s important to note that the cancellation was due to the lack of the required proof of prior insurance, despite our efforts to communicate this requirement clearly from the outset. We regret that this situation led to further complications, including the suspension of your license, and we empathize with the difficulty this has caused. We also want to address the communication concerns you mentioned. Our goal is always to provide transparent and professional service, and we regret if you felt that this standard was not met. Our team made every effort to assist within the bounds of the requirements outlined by State Farm, including advising you on steps to regain coverage. Unfortunately, without the necessary documentation, we were unable to proceed further."
